Volunteer
The Southwestern New Mexico Chapter helps people in emergencies every day. Volunteers are involved in every aspect of the Red Cross mission and constitute 92 percent of our workforce! Our vital work is made possible by people just like you who want to make a difference in the community. The American Red Cross needs you!
As a volunteer at the Southwestern NM Chapter, you could:
· Provide a family displaced by a house fire in the middle of the night with a safe place to sleep
· Set up a shelter and serve meals to disaster victims
· Support our Service to the Armed Forces at Holloman AFB or WSMR
· Teach people how to save lives with first aid and CPR training, babysitter’s training, and lifeguard training
· Help in our office to keep our daily business running smoothly
· And more!
